These uniquely designed wooden boxes unfold to reveal a cribbage board on the inside surface. As a gift for someone else, or for yourself, they can make a handsome conversation piece on the coffee table, desk, or shelf. The boxes are hinged with leather, which adds a distinctive color to the wood's beauty. The finish is a durable clear satin polyurethane that allows the natural grain of the wood to show. The cribbage board's once around track is easy to peg as you play along each section of the open box. A leather pouch is supplied containing brass and steel pegs, plus game pegs. Crib-in-a-Box is made of hand selected hardwoods from North America and around the world. Included in each box is a deck of cards, and Playing Instructions.

When closed, it is an attractive wooden box held together by interlocking joints, strong leather straps and brass snaps. Opened and laid out flat, the cribbage board and the full beauty of the wood shows. The mid-section of each board has holes for keeping track of games won. As an option boards can be purchased with an inlay of contrasting wood color on the mid-section. The peg pouch and cards fit inside the box for storage and easy transportation.

Crib-in-a-Box ( Hexagon

This unusual shaped box is a six sided hexagon when closed. When opened and rolled out flat the box becomes a long once around track cribbage board. The hexagon side pieces can be used as a playing surface, and have holes for keeping track of games won. As an option, the inside surface of the hexagon side pieces can be purchased with an inlay pattern of card suites. When done playing, lift the hexagon side pieces into their matching slots and simply role the board up. Before closing the last section, place the peg pouch and cards inside and snap shut.

Crib-in-a-Box ( Pyramid

The pyramid is a very unusual shaped box. When opened and laid out flat the pyramid becomes a triangle shaped cribbage board for 2 to 3 players. Each player starts at the outer point of their triangle and pegs along a single track towards a hole in the center triangle. The center section has a set of holes for each player to keep track of games won. Inlays of contrasting colored wood set off the start and finish holes. The pyramid is ~ magically ~ held shut by magnets.
